UGA returning as a national juggernaut and pumping more and more elite talent into the pros has been great for the sport as a whole. You’re all welcome.

I don’t enjoy the NFL but I can’t deny that it absolutely dominates the national consciousness. It’s crazy to me because outside of a few historic franchises these teams seem hard to connect to (given how players move around, the sort of cold indifferent attitude of the league towards basically everything, all the “scandals”, etc).

I only watch for Truck commercials and to see the Country singer pretend to play guitar at halftime.

Two seasons ago TigersHuskers boldly said that Trump’s Army would end the NFL in as little as three years.

Looks like they’ve had a minor setback.

College is up so much because people want to see joe burrow play

I live in an area dominated by SC and other pac 12 fans

They all tell me they tune in mainly to watch burrow

For me, LSU has been one of the bright spots in an otherwise mediocre season.

Same. I think people just default to professional sports if they're going to watch/follow something. People specifically follow college sports because they prefer it to pro sports or they went there or live very close etc...

That's why I think college fanbases are more passionate but less volumous than the NFL. That and the NFL has 32 teams and there are literally thousands of colleges.

Burrow isn’t the 6% bump that’s silly.

Unlike last year most of the really hyped games have been good to great. LSU-Texas, LSU-bama, Minnesota penn state, nd UGA, etc were all good games.

makes sense. NFC is stupid competitive this year with some big time fan followings

Dallas vs Philly for East
NOLA vs SF vs GB, vs SEA, vs Minny for first round byes

AFC kinda sucks but Lamar is a spectacle and is currently must watch TV

Why are they comparing ratings vs 17 instead of 2018?
