The only sport that is dumber to grade/rank a player on via championships than football is baseball. And that’s barely so.

The next time these Brady cucks wanna say Trout is the best player I’m drowning you in your own hypocrisy.

Here's the thing though.

He has rings AND the stats to back it up. He's second all-time in yards and touchdown passes. It'd be different if Brady was some scrub who has struggled to reach 50,000 career yards but he's not. Drew Brees is #1 in the aforementioned categories but where Brady gets him is the fact that he has three NFL MVPs to Brees's none and he has four Super Bowl MVPs to Brees's one. Plus he hasn't been 1st Team All-Pro since 2006.

Most people outside of New Orleans view Drew Brees the same way many of you Saints fans view Tom Brady - as a system QB who has the added benefit of playing half of his games in a dome.

Yeah people like to hate on Watts personality or whatever, but he was/is an absolute problem on the football field.

Hell, even after missing the better part of 2 seasons to injury, he came back last year and put up 16 sacks.

And he’s about to return from a torn pectoral after like 10 weeks.

JJ Watt was an absolute game wrecker. Never seen a player as unblockable as him when he’s healthy.

Here are 3 quarterback’s passer ratings in 3 different stadium types and the number is consistent across each location...

Dome:
1 109.0
2 109.0
3 104.9

Retractable roof:

1 108.7
2 98.4
3 89.9

Outdoors:

1 101.6
2 96.4
3 91.6

Just for shits and giggles here’s a number 4 and their stats in the same order - 96.8, 90.6 and 91.9. Here’s a 5 - 105.0, 102.3, and 93.2.

Rank them.

Hard to really quantify his efforts, but he deserves a mention.

If we're gonna look at dudes whose play is hard to quantify then you gotta go with the other Thomas here (Joe). Dude was 1st team All-Pro six times in eight seasons this decade (2nd team in '12) while playing for the frickin Browns.

Passer rating is a subjective metric that I have never ascribed to.

Come up with something else.

I don’t think subjective means what you think it means

Von Miller has been a consistent double digit sack guy for most of this decade. 3x 1st team All pro 4x 2nd team All pro. Super Bowl MVP.

Adrian Peterson might have an argument too.

Brady by far
Hasn't Rodgers outperformed Brady as a QB? Brady happens to be on a better team with a better coach.

The subjective awards are not very meaningful in a debate this close. Brady has also benefitted from the greatest coach ever and consistent top 10 defenses. Brees has an excellent coach, but he's no Belichick. Brees rarely had a top ten defense.

If Brees and Brady had been swapped at the beginning of their careers, New England wouldn't have won any less.
