how about completion percentage...Ryan 67.5%, Drew Brees 62.3%, Josh Freeman 56.4%

Mr. Check Down King bruh. Those 3 yard dump off to the RBs sure do help.

There's a lot of football left to be played. If Manning ends up having a horrible game like this and his team loses, is he out of the race as well?

so I guess Breesus checks down more bc he averages .1 yards less than Ryan per completion

please post the updated stats at the end of the year. Like i told you, matt ryan had a great 1st half of the season but i've never seen him play like that for 16 weeks, DESPITE having the best all around group of skill players at his disposal

same way the Saints fans think winning one Super Bowl makes everything about their team better than the Falcons...

no i think our record vs the falcons the last 10-15 years proves it, there is no thinking..

As long as ryan is your QB enjoy being bounced out the first game every year..

alright...I pulled out STATS when STATS were already out...either way I agree Ryan isn't an MVP candidate anymore, I'm just pointing out how retarded it is to say Freeman is better than Ryan

but I don't have time to stay here debating you frickers all day so have a good one

There are only 2 quarterbacks with more interceptions than Matty MVP. FYI, everyone.

And Drew Brees didn't have the best supporting cast in NFL history along with the best offensive coach of the last 25 years last year.

I don't know why you are selling freeman so short. He plays in an old school run run run Deep ball offense

the guy has lost serious weight and seems to be flourishing with an actual cast around him (matt ryan has a better one) I still don't think he's in the top tier but I would take him over matt ryan in a heartbeat. I'm not saying this to shite on ryan. I fricking cannot stand freeman but he deserves all the credit in the world for his performance this year. He looks and plays like a completely different player

Are you serious? I love colston, Moore, etc...and by no means are they scrubs, but outside of graham, brees has had no elite offensive skill players in NOLA. Brady was winning Super Bowls with David patten and Troy brown. And even if brees' cast was the best, it shows in the numbers. Ryan is playing with one of if not the best set of skill players. Where are the brees like numbers? 0 TDs and 5 picks is disgraceful.

ETA: not to mention brees is without the best playcaller of the last 25 years, missed all of the offseason programs, had a dreadful 3 game start and is still going to have a phenomenal year. He's on pace for 45 TDs. Matt ryan is on pace for 32, very good, but i don't think, and he never has, he will play consistently good football throughout the year. Who knows where the frick he ends up.

Why aren't Rodgers and Brady leading the race or at least even with Manning?

Brady's TD:INT ratio is simply amazing, same passing yards & win-loss record as Manning as well.

Rodgers leading the league in Rating again, has a great TD:INT ratio & same record as Brady and Manning, including the referee blunder against Seattle. I guess since he had such a phenomenal season last year people are holding him to a higher performance expectation level.

Manning just due to the year absence shouldn't be the leader. Sure put him in the conversation but Brady and Rodgers have some great #'s. Any of those 3 could win it.
