Maybe not unhinged but it would create a story...which is exactly what teams want to avoid.

Leaving an interview would be one of the worst options.

I know it would. But is should honestly be the best, in terms of showing your true character

My point is, we have it all backwards. But I am not disagreeing that it would cause a media parade

If an interviewer asked some player out of the blue if he was gay or his mother was a whore, nobody would object to him walking out.

You're saying the teams that are asking those questions to see if they can get these dudes to break character wouldn't object to the story this would create?

No, they would not care in the least if some player bailed on an interview after getting asked if his mother was a whore.

I'm honestly shocked that you think this is some scorching hot take.

You honestly don't realize that organizations are stalker level crazy about keeping their team/issues out of the news cycle?

Then a guy is going to walk out of an interview, which will create news, and that team or any other team won't see that as a red flag?

I don't know if you're just naive to the lengths teams will go to stay out of the news or what here, but you're just wayyyyyyyy off base with this one.

Me? I think it's nothing, but my thoughts on it and yours are irrelevant. What's relevant is it'll make news and teams don't like their players making news like that.

They're not asking these questions because they care what players will do during interviews. They care because they want to see if a player will lose his shite on the field and cost them yards when an opposing player talks shite about his mama.

But maybe you're right and the Patriots are regretting drafting Tom Brady after he told that radio show he was no longer doing interviews with them after they insulted his daughter. He clearly can't handle the heat!

That's right, because Tom Brady's status and a draftee are exactly the same.

Agreed. Nobody wants to see or hear about this stuff ever. But ESPN is putting it on the front of their website and they have a history of promoting it even though in 2018 nobody wants to see it.

Guice should have not been asked that question. It is insulting.

If you say you don’t agree with that lifestyle it does not mean they are interested or they are homophobes. Those are just nonsense political tactics to keep people from verbally disagreeing with that disgusting behavior.

There is just not a rational basis for having these views aside from homophobia. Sorry, you're on the wrong side of history. If you were alive in the 1960's you would be arguing how separate but equal is completely fine.

Why does it matter who someone chooses to sleep with/be attracted to? It doesn't effect you at all. The only reason to have ill feelings toward "that disgusting behavior" is because you're a homophobe. That's not up for debate. If your basis is religion, then you better equally despise all other sins (swearing, pre-marital sex, adultery, etc.). But we all know you and others don't care as much about other sins. Religion is just a cop-out excuse to try to justify the fact that you're a shitty person.

False. More gay guys = less competition for that sweet pink.

False. Race is not the same as sexual preference. Not even close. 1960’s argument will not work here.

Religion is not needed to argue against it even though you could. You can use statistics, medical science, disease rate, etc. to argue against it but why bother.

Wait, so seeing 2 dudes kissing is them forcing their beliefs on you, but you crying about it and saying you don't want to see that is NOT forcing your beliefs?

Man, you're lost on this topic.

I could do the same about drinking, fast food and other things I'm sure you partake in, but why bother...

But again, people should be able to believe want they want to believe without people like you who are quick to judge.
Do you seriously not see the irony here? This is gold.

But then every goddamn news outlet on earth would report how much of a psycho you are and how you shouldn't be drafted.

There would be a more professional way to go about it but I agree, "If I was asked if I was gay and if my mother is/was a whore" I'd thank them for their time but simply tell them that I am a professional and do not want to be associated with an organization that finds that line of questioning to appropriate or relevant. I also wouldn't comment on anything in the media. No one could accuse you of being a psycho in that situation. It only makes the team look bad.

Walking out of an interview is not losing your shite. Losing your shite is what Reuben Foster did at the hospital last year before his physical. You can keep your composure without engaging an interviewer asking inappropriate questions.
