Regardless of this Guice probably just laughed and never thought about it. ESPN is the one forcing the issue here for political purposes.

There would be a more professional way to go about it but I agree, "If I was asked if I was gay and if my mother is/was a whore" I'd thank them for their time but simply tell them that I am a professional and do not want to be associated with an organization that finds that line of questioning to appropriate or relevant. I also wouldn't comment on anything in the media. No one could accuse you of being a psycho in that situation. It only makes the team look bad

Choose not to be associated? People keep trying to draw this false equivalency to the real world. The team can draft you if they want if you're there. You'd choose to not play for a team on that principle, destroying your career in the process?

That said, I think that'd be an appropriate answer and they wouldn't have a problem with it. Again, they just want to make sure the guy isn't going to fly off the handle when they're faced with a provocative question.

your basis is religion, then you better equally despise all other sins (swearing, pre-marital sex, adultery, etc.). But we all know you and others don't care as much about other sins. Religion is just a cop-out excuse to try to justify the fact that you're a shitty person.

I don’t believe you get to choose your sex later on in life. Crazy, I know but genetic testing agrees with me.

I don’t believe that. And I don’t belive you get to choose your sex later on in life. Crazy uhh. Being born with something can be applied to many acts that are not right such as being a pedophile, beastility, serial rapist, etc. They all claim they were born that way. Nonsense.

I believe people are born with urges but your actions are your choice.

How old is the planet earth?

"your choice" as long as they choose what you want them to do.

probably because they have asked this question in the past and were told not to by the NFL

I always wonder how a person like you would handle having a gay child

For his child's sake, I hope not. I feel terrible for the gay children who have to grow up with parents like this poster would be to gay children.

But I am not disagreeing that it would cause a media parade

Which is ironic because now that guice has come public with the line of questioning he was asked, the NFL is in a media parade about sexual discrimination even though that wasn't the original point of the question. It was a stupid series of questions because teams should be able to realize that it won't play well in 2018 media climate

So why do you think that these potential draftees are too stupid to differentiate between on the field shite talking and innapproriate questioning in a formal interview at a weeklong official career fair?

2018 climate? The Falcons got in trouble for this exact thing in 2016. There was an issue with this exact question in 2013 as well. And then there was the 2010 Dez Bryant situation.

I can't believe teams are still asking questions like this when the NFL is supposedly completely against it.

Who says they're too stupid to differentiate?

re: NFL Draft: Team ask Derrius Guice if he likes men
Well why would a team feel the need to ask a player a specific question to try and garner a reaction in an interview if they already believe that he can handle keeping the shite talking on the field and handle the media in a more respectful manner. I just don't see what the teams hope to gain from those questions
