I’ve known a few that have drank themselves to death at a fairly young age.
I worked in construction a long long time ago and there was a guy on our crew that would buy a case of beer every single day after work and would be fine by 7a the next day. I didn't know how he managed to live like that until one day he didn't wake up. Its sad but should be very preventable considering how hard it is to hide that much alcohol consumption.

One of the best electricians I ever worked around you couldn't stand downwind of him and he'd sleep at lunch in the port-o-cans.
His equipment always passed inspection and he was meticulous as shite.
Finally sobered up and lost like 75lbs.

I was buying a suitcase of beer 4/7 nights a week. Coors Lite. I'd pound them and somehow roll out of bed for work.
I had a problem and the only thing that saved me from death was Jesus.

Well the United States still has zero official deaths from the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Move waaaay to the back of the class.
Geez.
And step away from the TV and several years of CNN-MSNBC-WHO-CDC gaslighting campaign.

That’s what I mean. To kill your body at 38 from alcohol is absurd. I can’t imagine how much he was drinking
Probably not as much as you’d think. It only takes about 40 grams (about 1 1/2 ounces of hard liquor or a 12 ounce beer) of alcohol on a daily basis to cause liver damage.
Having dealt with functioning alcoholics in therapy and personally, I think folks would be surprised how well they can function. It’s when their immune system starts to become suppressed that it really starts to go off the rails.

Someone downvoted you for saying this? The amount of hate that people carry in their hearts is amazing, especially when it comes to faith.

Duff McKagan from Guns N Roses was hospitalized at age 30 for his drinking and almost died.
ETA: it wasn’t one night of insanely hard drinking. He had developed pancreatitis.
He was lucky enough to be hospitalized and treated by experts as he had withdrawal.
He stopped drinking and made a full recovery and as far as I can tell, is in very good health as he is near 60.
I think there is certainly a genetic component to it. There are likely people who are 55-60 who drank as much as Duff or Zimmer, but kept drinking for 15-20 more years. But people can absolutely drink themselves to death before 40.

it does when literally anyone dies for any reason so not surprising if true
There was some Broadway actress who died at 32 a few days ago and there were the vax crazies pointing out how she had vax in her bio… she died from brain cancer which she’d been diagnosed with in 2019. Legit crazy people out there.

What does death from this look like?
You just go to bed & not wake up?

Dying of alcohol abuse at 38. Holy shite how did he function enough to hold a job?
Would have been me. Was a raging alcoholic and coke head for 11 years. Case of beer and pint of vodka/tequila every single day toward the last 5. Very thankful to be 2 in half years sober. But you know what? Even just a few weeks ago on the way home from work I stopped at the liquor store and just sat there. It's unbelievable the fricking grip the substance still has on me sometimes. Hopefully Mr. Zimmer has found some peace. Sad stuff

Depends. Many times they bleed out internally or other organs just shut down
You could be bleeding and simply pass out and never wake up
Really don’t know without the details.

Not really. I’ve seen guys in their late 20s in liver failure.

Alcohol withdrawal can also kill you. As far as I know it’s the only addiction where quitting might cause death.

Yeah -- how could *anyone NOT believe "vax conspiracy" couldn't possibly be afoot?? Only NUTS and "conspirators" believe that.

You mean not engaging in echo-chamber, one-dimension takes like most everyone else?
I'm trying, bruh.

I'm glad that you decided to drive away instead of walking through those doors.
I'm over 6 years sober and pretty much live life normally now. I went to a concert a few weeks ago and everyone was drinking and I didn't think anything of it. Never crossed my mind.
That said, just last night I accidently began walking down the wine/beer aisle in the grocery store and basically covered my eyes and retreated. That is one thing I absolutely will not do these days. I'm terrified of it.
That aisle in any supermarket sounds my alarms and I feel it deep within my bones. It affects me like no other scenario.
Stay strong, my brother. Keep fighting the good fight.

You’re looking for something you want to be true. Even if he threw a clot it’s likely from his alcohol abuse.. that logical thinking doesn’t mean anything in regards to whether the Covid shot creates or heightens the risk of clots
