Someone explain this to me, and what it does to you?
Sucking nitrous out of balloons. fricks you up for a solid 30 seconds, and is very bad for your brain.

As long as you are sitting down when you take them they are safe, in moderation of course. Huffing computer duster on the other hand is terrible and you can die after just one hit, like the 14 yr old honor student in California did last year. It amazes me that people still buy that garbage and that it is legal when there are WAY better alternatives out there that are not harmful and are safe for the environment. Im not an environmental freak or anything but using just one can of computer duster does the same damage to the ozone layer as burning 100 gallons of gasoline! I just cannot see how it is still legal!

Compressed air is not nitrous. They are duster cans for cleaning electronics and I know someone who died from it.

Dang, that may be the oddest resignation ever.
A buddy used to hammer the whipped cream cans in high school. There were cases of it at the ice cream/dairy store we worked at. Not a good mix for him.
Problem is, of course, the can goes flat after being "serviced."![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Of course anything that cuts off oxygen to the brain is dangerous and potentially deadly...which is what Nitrous oxide abuse does. Killing parts of the brain is never a good thing.
As someone stated, it makes people stupid...or even more stupid than they already were.

The worst Intervention episode I've ever seen was a girl who was hooked on huffing computer cleaner. Extremely bad.

Got a friend who is a NMSU alum. His friend (who may have stole it who knows)
"At least we lead the conference in keyboard cleanliness."
I liked it.
