How is Nevada a 4 seed?? They are ranked #6
Because seedings and rankings have zero to do with each other.

I was going to go to Tulsa for the subregion but it looks blah

Damn. Am I only seeing 2 PAC-12 schools in there? ASU and UW?
Arizona State is teetering on the bubble. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Washington ended up being the Pac-12's only bid.

Because they haven't played one Q1 game yet

I truly like LSU's team. That would be a bad draw for them though imho
I like that draw more than the other 3 options to be honest. I think that's the probably their easiest road to the FF of the four options

They may get to the tournament without a single win over another tournament team

Yeah - I think there’s a great chance the PAC is a one bid league. ASU lost to the second worst team in conference (Wazzu) at home. Brutal loss for them.

I don't see how Oklahoma is even sniffing a bid

Seeing LSU as a 3 seed has got be rock hard right now

Different criteria.
Different voters.
The seed is still mythical.
I see one bracket with Belmont a 12 seed and another with Belmont not even in the 68.
Both have Murray a 12.
Belmont actually beat murray.
And Morant hasn't been the same since he sprained ankle in the loss to Belmont.
Therefore these guesstimates are flawed.

Pac-12 is the worst conference in college basketball. Fade the entire conference in the NIT and profit.

LSU goes to the final 4 in that bracket

They’ll put 2 in from PAC.
But only one from the WCC? The WCC conference is rated higher than the PAC-12 this year. ASU should be replaced by a school from somewhere else.

I feel like there’s so many CBB newbs here. There are seedlings like this damn near every year.

It would be cool if we got in over Alabama and had the rubber match with Butler. And then we could get payback on these cheating sons of bitches Louisville.

A 19 year grudge match.
Maryland won at Iowa tonight. That'll bump Iowa off of the 6 line.

As an LSU fan, I think we’d have a great draw in that bracket. I think we could beat Florida State in the round of 32, beat Michigan State in the sweet 16, and have a shot at beating Gonzaga in the elite 8. Gonzaga would be our most difficult opponent to be honest

By rubber match with Butler, I'm assuming you meant the 2000 and 2011 tournament games being the first two

Nevada is #12 in the Massey composite, and because of the relative lack of good western teams, their hypothetical path to the Final Four is an easy one in terms of miles travelers (San Jose, Anaheim). Thus, they’ll likely take a hit in seeding.
Plus, look who’s in their pod—Louisville, for whom the ncaa is not eager to do any favors. UL gets a tough draw: go all the way to San José where they have to go through Nevada for a chance to go all the way to Anaheim.
