Which will be worse... Ole Miss football sanctions or Louisville basketball sanctions?

If I had to guess, Pitino gets 9 game suspension and NCAA accepts UofL's self imposed penalties.

It's amazing how quickly they can work on some schools, but North Carolina still just hanging out not being dealt with.

They really do not have much on UNC if you look into the actual allegations.

NCAA adores UNC. They want people to forget about them.

That's not untrue, but it's kinda different when a fricking book comes out detailing all of the violations

I think Louisville will be happy if they don't have to vacate 2013 and don't have to miss any more post-season.

Everything else is gravy for them.

Does any of this include the fraud going on with the President's office and the UL foundation? I know there are criminal issues being looked at there, is the NCAA also looking at that or is this only for the basketball issues?

I was close. Pitino suspended 5 ACC games, NCAA accepts UofL self imposed penalty.

NCAA has vacated their 2013 title.

ETA: That's still a bit cloudy. All wins from 2010-2014 are vacated it sounds like.

They should get harsher penalties. I believe the NCAA may be very tough on Louisville. It is not as glamorous as UCLA, Duke, UNC, Indiana, and Kentucky, it just isn't. So they are high-profile enough to be made an example of without hurting the NCAA as a whole.

Plus I can imagine the Duke and UNC shedding no tears over UL getting hammered and actively pushing for harsh sanctions.

Not even that: it says all wins vacated from 2010 to 2014 in which ineligible players were used.

Seems confusing - have they determined specifically which players were ineligible?
