He’s only lost 2 first round games and only 4 second rd games since 2004. If that’s being bounced early I’ll take it.

Also, had a really nice team in 2006 with Randy Foye that lost to UF in the Elite 8

You never know. They were getting hammered by Kentucky in 2012 final. Then cut it to a 5 point lead or so with 2 minutes left. But only if Villanova goes ice cold from 3.

Whoever the black guy is on the nova telecast just "corrected" himself to get the grammar wrong. "7 guys have hit, or rather 7 guys has hit 3s."

Nova can actually score in a variety of ways. They just prefer the three.

Stoops has also won a title and been a runner up 2 other times. So they both are on equal footing in my mind.

In his first 14 years he
- Missed tournament 4x
- Bounced before Sweet16 6/10 including multiple great seeds
That isn't getting you blue blood first choice calls
He clearly is a great coach, but he moved into the top tier coach category only recently

Wasn’t like Steve Lappas left him anything. He got to NCAA at Drexel. Once he rebuilt it, which is why I took 2004.
