Olbermann is a 100000x times better doing sports than he is with political commentary. NBC removed him off the wrong show.

:kige:

I hate his liberal views and show, but I really enjoyed him doing the highlights. He's way better at that than at his ridiculous Countdown show, and I'd rather hear him do highlights than Dan Patrick and Bob Costas - he at least injects some humor into it.

The one thing I take away from this thread is they should take EVERYBODY off of that show because it's fricking terrible. Which is completely true.

I cant draw a line here, I hate the fricker so much. For me its similar to saying "That Bin Laden is a real son of a bitch but he sure knows his football"

Exaggeration to make a point. A common use of the language in debate.

Hyperbole is great and all, but what you're doing here is more insidious.

Sadly, it's not unexpected from the right wing these days.

WOW. Man I just dislike him for his smugness. I'm pretty sure Limbaugh would say thats a little harsh

It's not even an exaggeration, as Olbermann and Bin Laden have nothing in common.

You're the one who:

1) declared that you hated Olbermann for his politics,

and

2) compared him to Osama Bin Laden.

Now that you've realized your mistake, you're trying to play it off as a joke, which it clearly wasn't.

Again, it's rather sad because it's par for the course these days in what passes for political discourse. And this goes for people from all over the spectrum, not just conservatives.
