• Only 3.5 games separate the 5 and 13 seed.
• Lakers can pull within 1 game of 5 seed and half a game of the 6 seed today
• Lakers are only team 5-13 with a winning record over the last 10

Should start to get some really intense games as these teams fight for position

We gotta talk about the fact that the Sacramento Kings are about to be the 2nd seed in the Western Conference. And a legitimate 2 seed. Very solid core with Fox and Sabonis leading the way

Wild conference
Crazy to see that the Lakers are so much better without LeBron while he load manages

Kings are a very exciting team
Phoenix is going to fade with KD out and no depth

KD is out for 2 weeks and Phoenix has a 4 game lead in the loss column for 4th place.

And Phoenix's lack of depth is greatly overexaggerated.

I actually could see the Suns leaping Memphis for 3 with Morant, Adams, and Clarke out.

looking forward to these next 18 months with this new group and seeing how people return to bending over backwards to come up with any conceivable way to act like whatever the lakers achieve doesnt actually count

The Warriors are in trouble if they can't figure out how to win a few road games. They play the Bucks tonight, and then go on a 5 game roadie. Yikes. Hope they can hold on.

They were 12th in the West, and 21-24 on January 17th.

They were 2-3 games above .500 when Booker got hurt on Christmas Day.

EDIT: They turned their season around when CP3 got healthy in January after his heel issue, and when Cam Johnson came back.

It seemed people confidently placed them as a 6-7 seed as Steph was set to come back but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re fighting for a 9 seed come the end of the season

If they are the 8th or lower, I think they lose in the play-in and miss the playoffs.

I haven’t watched them play a game all season

Yikes is right, they’re 7-23 on the road this year.

They're legit. I watch a lot of their games since I'm out west. I watch all the Suns games, and a bunch of Lakers/Clippers/Kings/Warriors.

Kings have the best offense in the league (idc what the stats say about Denver).

Their defense leaves a lot to be desired, and I worry about them if they play the Lakers or Warriors in a first round series - they won't be favored, and they DEFINITELY aren't getting the calls.

Big game for the Thunder @ Pelicans tonight, both teams fighting for that 10 seed. 7:30c on Bally Southwest.

Kings are 1000% what the Pelicans should be if they were ever healthy.

the conference has been so tipsy turvy. They were first, then 12 or thirteenth back to being in solid position to host playoff series.
