PHX gets screwed in the lottery every year. Young will be gone when PHX picks.

That’s the one that puzzles me. Elfrid kind of sucks but they drafted him high knowing his deficiencies and he’s played well based on his skill set.

It really irks me seeing all these panelists asking if the Cavs now have enough to defeat the Warriors. The Warriors aren’t playing that good right now. How bout giving the Rockets some love?

Houston is the most disrespected and ignored big city team in all of professional sports and it's not even close.

Every time the Rockets are on national TV, if they win, its about how bad the other team is, if they lose or are losing, its about how good the other team is.

I think it was Christmas day when the Rockets played OKC, during the half time show the ESPN guys didn't mention the Rockets once, not a single time and it was a about a 5 point game or so. The halftime show was about 20 minutes long too.

The game the other night against the Cavs where they won by 30+? It was all about the Cavs drama and LeBron etc.. Rockets were a mere afterthought.

That’ll change when LeBron joins the Rockets next year.

I think most of it is due to James Harden's game not appealing to the casual fan, so the media doesn't give as much attention to the Rox. He's the third or fourth best player in the league, but he's not flashy, and casual fans love big dunks and mean mugging.

They also have been third or fourth in the pecking order in the West behind the spurs, warriors, and thunder (save last year).

When they make the conf finals this year and scare GS they'll get more recognition.

Seriously though why did Memphis not trade Tyreke

Seems as though they were pretty content holding on to him unless they could get a 1st round pick.

I forgot which team it was but they were only offering 2nd round picks and even included multiple 2nd round picks but Memphis was dead set on a 1st rounder.

Word is they want to sign Tyreke for the MLE after this season. Its a weird deal for a team that's likely going to have revamp their roster unless they plan on going in to next year competitive once Conley comes back and they plan on making Tyreke a part of that.

I'm still trying to figure out how the Suns got Elfrid for nothing. It feels so nice to win something when you never actually get wins on the court.

GS’s bench needs another scorer off the bench if they want another championship. Swaggy P, West, Livingston, and Iggy aren’t cutting it.

Man, you got some sort of complex.

Almost every legitimate NBA analyst has Houston pegged firmly as the second best team in the NBA. They aren't getting put over the Warriors until they prove something. The Warriors are the best team of all time. The Rockets are led by two guys, one of which has earned a reputation for choking in the playoffs, and another who has earned a reputation for never getting his teams anywhere meaningful in the playoffs. I'm not a fan of the hot take/overreactions to players, but Harden and Paul (Both of whom I like as players), have sort of rightfully earned those reputations. I'm not picking those guys anywhere close to GS until they show something.

No, he’s right. Inside the NBA has had a vendetta against the Rockets for years. It started with Charles Barkley refusing to say anything positive about the Rockets on the air because he claims the owner owes him millions of dollars from when he played in Houston. He’s said that on the air. And Kenny and Shaq follow his lead.

It’s been an ongoing issue to the point where the Rockets have contacted TNT saying that the smearing may hurt their brand.

That’s the one chink in the armoire their role players are the worse they have been lately. Iggy is washed.. LIvingston doesn’t seem like the same player either. McCaw, pretty big disappointment.

CC has a solid solid bench role player group.

Barkley also called out the city of San Antonio and all the women in the city.

He's also always been vocal that the Warriors before KD were extremely overrated. I think he still might even take shots at them when he can.

He's a loud personality that most look to for funny commentary rather than legitimate basketball analysis. He's got a lot of bad opinions on basketball.

If this is as slighted as the Rockets are, you will be ok.

Dafuq? We're right down the road from y'all, second biggest city in TX, and the rest of the country acts shocked that we keep trying to get an NFL, MLS, or MLB team. Barkley has had his "big ol' San Antonio women" schtick going for like 15 years now

Y'all beat us on Christmas on national TV like 3 out of 4 years and every time y'all got your knobs slobbed gratuitously. Even the year we went on to win the title, it was all about how y'all were finally turning the corner. Hell, the last game we played, they were going on and on about how one of them was a huge oilers fan back in the day and how awesome it was (while SA was making a run).

Y'all aren't special when it comes to that. We beat them with our B-squad and zero people talked about how well they played. It was all CLE drama.

I realize every sports fan feels like their town/squads don't get enough respect, but come on, the martyr routine from houstonfan is a little pathetic
