What a joke the East is. There are six teams in the West that would win the East if you replaced the Knicks. The Charge would give the Knicks a better game.

This actually feels less true this year than most of like the last 20 years, IMO

I go back and forth. The Knicks have a great starting lineup and solid depth. Basically every team outside the Top 2 in the West has huge flaws.

Knicks would have been the 6/7 seed and would be playing the Spurs right now and the Cavs would have played OKC in the second round, but thanks for playing.

Agree. All pro sports should get rid of conferences.

Is this a typo or do you mean the g-league Cleveland Charge?

leagues have too many teams for that… in NFL and MLB, the conferences are based on history and aren’t just arbitrary

And in the NBA there’s a built in rivalry between the conferences dating back to Bird and Magic

Some lucky west team will get to move ti East when they add 2 teams to the West. Minny or Memphis are likely the lucky recipients.

I would have to imagine it's Minnesota. There's at least 4 NBA teams in the East that are closer to them geographically than their closest West opponent.

Agree. And NBA will put Seattle in their place which is the OKC division. That will make for some must see games. Instant ratings.

TBH, I would be shocked if it were Minnesota. It's wild that Memphis is in a state that borders a coastal state. I could even see them moving New Orleans to the East.

I feel like the West has been better than the East for 30 consecutive years.
