Still early in the series. They will both experience extreme highs and extreme lows, but nothing in between

Seems to me like Houston came out and tried to throw a huge punch. Problem is it landed but their opponent is still standing tall

Rockets just need to be efficient and they'll be fine. They are built to hang with GSW. The Warriors played very good defense in the first half and forced quite a few bad possessions. The Rockets need better possessions resulting in good shots -- either open threes or shots from inside the restricted area.

Harden - 12 shots 24 points

KD - 13 shots 17 points

So unless you’re saying that a Harden step back three is easier than KD hitting mid range over CP3, then either Harden won’t keep the pace or KD will start hitting more.

Which is pretty much the whole point of what he initially said

I’d agree, they’re just standing. Running no type of action to get open or involved in the offense. You can still iso Paul and Harden, but toss them a bone every now and then

Dude that is Houston's offense. You keep criticizing them for playing their game.

I understand that's how they've played all year. They also haven't played a defense like the Warriors giving a frick's defense.

Houston is just putting Looney in PNR and cooking the switch. Looney was doing solid at first, but he got gassed at the end of the half playing extended minutes with Dray in foul trouble.

Rockets can only make KD shoot those jumpers with a man "defending" him. If he makes those, there's nothing anyone on the planet can do. I think they're doing a good job, maybe they could double him more on the perimeter but that also would make getting back to their guys more difficult.

Either way GS is shooting 55% which is above even their level.

Then he's ignoring what everyone else is doing. If we're playing that game, everyone else around Harden is due to play better and GS worse, based on your law of averages.

Iguodala was also low key terrible in the first half. Chuck saying the Rockets aren’t exploiting mismatches is pretty dumb

You’d have to give some stats for that.

That’s assuming GS Bench equals CC Bench.

Also assumes GS shot quality equals CC shot quality
