Just in: Free agent forward Tobias Harris has agreed to a two-year, $31 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs, sources tell ESPN. Harris exits the Pistons after helping lead a franchise turnaround and now joins a young contending team in the Western Conference.

Spurs got a their 4. Will be interesting to see whether Julian or Tobias starts.
Spurs had $15 mil to spend and Tobias jumped first. I'm not sure who else has $15 mil but Rui might be SoL for a contender.

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Bogoljub Markovic to a second-round pick exception, sources say. Markovic was the Bucks’ No. 47 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
It’s a four-year, $9.3 million deal with a team option in the final season.

That’s all Boston got for Jaylen? There’s no way that was the best offer

Jaylen Brown traded to the 76ers for Paul George

His value tanked after the Giannis deal didn't go through.
Celtics couldn't go into next season with him and every team in the league knew it.
I'm absolutely shocked they only got an old Paul George instead of myraid of other rumor trades out there ( Jamal Murray being chief among them).
Compared to that Lakers trade for Kessler this a better deal but lol. George only has a couple years left unless this is a play for LeBron somehow.

Wasn’t he also on the table for AD, Kawhi, and Durant? Why’s it different now that he was on the table for Giannis? Did his ego get too big after last season?

Why exactly Couldn’t the celtics keep brown?

Brown has been in trade rumors at least the 3 years and probably longer than that. They feel Tatum is better.
After that Giannis trade didn't work and all crap about analytics this week Boston had to trade him. There was no way that bridge was going to be mended. Boston got screwed hard by Milwaukee in multiple ways. And George will not make that pill any easier to swallow.
They could've at least done Murray, Dame, the Trey Murphy trade. Anything other than this imo.

Publicly putting a player like that on the trade block and not moving them is asking for a locker room shite show.

Cranjis has started putting stuff out. We project pretty well with Kessler on the floor and are basically yoloing it when he isn't
Should make for an incredibly frustrating year

He was on the block for the AD trade like 7-8 years ago, before AD said he would only play for the Lakers.

The other team that screw by this is New Orleans. I don't see how Dumars can ask for 3 firsts for Trey Murphy now imo.

I don’t hate this move since I feel like Kessler is the perfect big to pair with Luka and the defensive anchor we have been missing since AD, even if the Lakers paid 120 cents on the dollar in this deal.
I do like the fact that the Lakers have gotten way younger after being such an old team during most of the Lebron era. I think Reaves is now LA’s oldest player at 28.
We definitely need some defensive wings now and idk what the path is to grabbing a couple tho. Thybulle and someone like Zaire Williams would be perfects targets imo

The Pels haven't spent the last month tanking Murphy's stock and begging him to demand out
