John Collins deal is only one guaranteed year and two non guaranteed years.

Either he saw 3/51 million and just accepted it, or teams around the league are penny pinching hard thanks to the cap rules.

Might be both.

Wow… Mitch gets 3/47 from Boston

At least it wasn’t the Lakers, but NYK will be hating that

jazz assraped the Lakeshow there

Kessler is a VERY good defensive center and rebounder but he does not score at all. That is a lot to give up and pay for a specialist essentially

Lakers had no choice. There weren't other centers out there other than Duren.

Jazz are setup to be very good with how young they are and all these picks.

Duren has no choice but to go to back to Detroit with his tail between his legs unless those rumors about the Kings are true. He only has himself to blame really

Kessler's $130M deal includes a player option in the fourth season, plus a full trade kicker, sources tell ESPN. The Lakers land their signature center for star guards Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves by moving two firsts and two swaps to the Jazz.

pretty much. Also just desperately needed a defensive anchor. It's an overpay but kinda backed into a corner

Yea we were desperate and the Jazz knew it. Sucks but at least it's for something that legitimately slots in well

But definitely hamstrings the organization going forward which sucks
