The Lakers could now decide to trade Bronny James with LeBron leaving.
Bronny has been unable to crack Los Angeles’ main rotation since being drafted in 2024.
Bronny’s minimum salary would not count against a team’s cap space, if sent elsewhere to potentially follow his father.

A team of Curry and LeBron would be absolutely insane 10 years ago. Hell it's still pretty crazy Rich get richer I guess
It’s a feel good story. They aren’t a serious playoff threat. I doubt they’ll be anything more than competing for the 9-10 seed.

The odds of them staying healthy enough for a playoff run is slim also.

The Cavaliers and Heat join the Warriors as teams interested in acquiring LeBron James.
The Lakers could ultimately decide to sign-and-trade LeBron in order to net assets in return.

Would they get 82 games played combined?
Team doctor would need a pay raise

This reminds me of the 2004 Lakers.. too many superstars snd only ONE BALL. The got crushed by the Pistons in the final..

So LeBron’s only achievement as a Laker occurred in front of a bunch of fans on a zoom call?

Clutch clarification from @KeithSmithNBA: The Mavericks still have multiple exception routes to absorb Detroit's Marcus Sasser in a trade ... but their Jaden Hardy TPE is actually smaller than previously reported ($2.9M) because AJ Johnson went to Dallas in the same trade.

His biggest achievement was forcing LA to take Bronny. Cost LA a chance to develop an actual potential future player.
They are praying LBJ forces his new team to take him with

Yup. Look at this thread all the sudden posters come out of woodwork to post about him. Was semi quiet before lol.
I was hoping Chyna would offer him and Bronny stupid money to play over there to get him out of our basketball discussions. Wishful thinking

James Harden is planning to help give the Cavaliers more flexibility to pursue LeBron James, per @joevardon
“On Monday, Harden declined his $42.3 million player's option and is now a free agent. He is expected to return to Cleveland on a new contract, but Harden is waiting to sign to give the Cavs the flexibility they need to make a move like adding LeBron for next season, according to a league source granted anonymity to describe deliberations still in progress.”

The Raptors will not budge off their stance of offering one 1st-round pick for Kawhi Leonard.
The Clippers are currently seeking a package built around Brandon Ingram + future 1sts in the 2030s.
Toronto, who hasn’t dealt multiple picks in a trade over the past decade, says no.
