the biggest issue with deng is that he's not even a real veteran leader, which the lakers need

Am I missing something here? Deng never caused trouble with the Bulls or the Heat, and his teammates always spoke very highly of his lead-by-example approach.

Going back to our discussion about mostly Derozan and some about Whiteside. This FiveThirtyEight graph does a good job explaining their projected values going forward, along the lines of what I was saying and why I think both are overrated and their respective teams signed bad deals/overpaid.
Also, Voulgaris was going pretty hard at Derozan on Twitter last night, going as far as to say he's not certain Toronto wouldn't be a better team next season if Derozan left.
