Randle??

Randle cannot shoot. I despise his game.
Cannot play D (short arms)
So to get spacing, putting deng at the 4 will work.

Who runs the point, Randle or Mozgov?

130m to Deng and Mozgov? Magic is just shitting himself
Can you not read, what narrative. I said no FA is coming to LA, doesn't matter who the front office is.
My last sentence said paying deng mozgov, 34 per yr sucks, but it is what it is.
And yes I hope the #2 pick, in Ingram and d'angelo ball out in a couple yrs, not unrealistic. Again they r the # 2 PICKS!

Exactly. A front court of Mozgov and Randle would clog the paint so bad.
I'm fine with giving Randle big minutes off the bench until he can play under control and shoot better.
Deng is versatile, tough and will bring a veteran presence that is sorely needed. I think his contract is pretty fair when you look at what everyone else is getting with this salary cap

Might as well acquire Sasha Vujacic at this point. What a side show

I can't see both on the floor at the same time much this season.
PG D Russell
SG Clarkson ingram
SF Ingram, Deng
F deng, Randle
C mozgov
Just not a fan of randles, unless he comes up with a jump shot this off season

I think Walton will use Randle like Dray.

I would pencil Lou Williams in behind Clarkson at the 2. Lakers have roughly $17M left in space now (more if we could stretch Nick Young) so I wouldn't mind seeing us go after another defensive guard and maybe a big that can shoot a little bit.
Nance will be getting minutes somewhere too

Would be a disaster, they're the same height and can dribble, that's about all they have in common. Didn't realize Lakers fans were kind of down on him, I like the signing a lot better if Deng starts over Randle.
I know it's not fun for Laker fans to think about and they're on Buss's timeline, but this could be the difference between getting a top 3 pick and winning 30 games.

We have to get better sometime and show improvement to have any shot at a game changer free agent. The past 3 years have made it painfully obvious that a star is not going to walk into a mess.
I'm not expecting playoffs but I am expecting a much better team simply because the young talent will be one year older and they are no longer coached by Byron fricking Scott.

No fanbase has to try hard with how awful the Lakers situation is
tMelt will be for 5yrs minimum
