That's what I've heard all along. I think if we max Horford, he stays. We can keep both if we don't sign Howard, but we're not getting any better by just keeping those two.

i think Horford is what is holding the hawks back let him walk he's soft as tissue paper. DH12 is a lot of things but soft is not one of them. i think bazemore's production is replacable as well honestly for 20 mil a year i like the rookie they drafted

Horford needs to be playing the 4. I think Dwight / Milsap is a better combo than Horford / Milsap.

I still think it'd be awesome to try millsap, horford, and Howard but don't think we can convince any of those 3 to not start

he's really not soft down low. compared to NBA centers these days he's basically shaq.
he's a lot tougher than horford. you aren't going to get to the rim at will against DH. he's not a first option but I think he is an upgrade over AH at what they need from the center position I'd rather pay him 24 mil than max out Horford

I'm not sure if the Turner contract makes us better or worse. Just looking at the money, it hurts us. I'd rather bring back Henderson at 7-8M. What I like about Turner though is that he's an excellent passer and tough defender. If Aminu's 3 point shot is around 35% next season, it won't look bad if they play together.
I think this means that Crabbe/Harkless is out though. Whichever gets the cheaper contract stays.
