I'm ok with the Hill deal to the Pels. Big gamble but he's the kind of player to gamble on. And teams like the Pels have no choice but to take calculated risks.

You get it by playing weak side help and blocking shots with athleticism. Has nothing to do with being tough or soft. Pau Gasol is soft as shite, gets posterized and blocks a bunch of shots but at least he has heart.

Whatever you say. I disagree that being a good defensive player and being soft (be it mentally or physically) are mutually exclusive

Pau was soft as baby shite in the '08 Finals when he was getting pwnt left and right by KG and Perkins. It made him a much tougher player down the road tho with a ton of heart like you said. He wasn't intimidated by Dwight in the Finals the next year
