I'm guessing this means they're trying to get more vet talent on the team to convince Horford to stay. though I was never under the impression that he needed much convincing. they can already pay him more than anyone because of Bird rights, and have said keeping him is top priority, and he's said he wants to stay.
personally, I'm cool with moving on from Al. don't want to max him out. gonna be an interesting next few weeks.

we have so much fricking cap space that we should just do it. we aren't getting anyone better. and we actually have enough room even after signing al, so there is no reason to let al go.
