Calderon will be 35 before the season starts, not much value in him. Rose is still young, if you can get the 66 game Rose, it's a good trade.

Parker is a couple years past his prime. merely an average starting PG these days. Why wouldn't they want to upgrade? Although Conley isn't the missing piece. They need athletic bigs who can defend more than anything.

they are asking Rose to be basicall a third scoring option and run the offense. He's 27. HE can do that.

you free up 20 mil in cap space next year if he doesn't work out. You still got KP on a rookie scale deal.

Spurs fans, explain the Mike Conley interest. Is Parker leaving or something?

Because he would be a great addition?

Parker is on the back side of his career. 34 years old.

Conley ticks all the boxes the Spurs would want in their next PG.

I've been saying for a while he would likely be their big addition this season.

Conley can run an offense, hit the open shot and guard his position. Why wouldn't the Spurs be interested in him?

I do agree, Steven Adams took a huge step forward this postseason and showed how slow SAS centers were. Marjanovic might be that defensive anchor, but he was slow footed so he's useless in small ball and probably gets destroyed by athletic centers.

They can get away with a lot if they had a guard who could defend better than Parker. Conley would be a really good addition for them and plays into the team ball concept really well.

Assuming Simmons progresses defensively like people expect, they could roll out Conley-Green-Simmons-Leonard-Aldridge and get away with it for short spurts.

Kind of surprised about Ingram's EFG% in the paint.

George Hill is better than Teague in my opinion...and Teague is on an expiring contract. Hill plays fantastic defense, and smart high IQ offense.. he's like anti Jeff Teague.

This seems like a lateral move at best. With Monta next to Teague...like...what?

Makes no sense to me at all. Paul George has got to be gone...

Huge win for Hawks. Turning an expiring Teague into the 12th pick. Wow...absolutely great job by the Hawks.

I'm a little higher on Teague than you but this makes sense. Utah preferred Hill over Teague for reasons that should be obvious, he's a better fit defensively and will not impede the progress of Exum.

Great move for Atlanta, trading a guy you had to deal anyway and shedding some cap space as well.

Philly trying to get the 3rd pick. If they get it, I'm sure they take Dunn.

Dunn
Saric
Simmons
Embiid

Those are some fun players. They'd be a League Pass team for sure.

If I'm Ainge, I'm only giving them 3 for Noel.

Wouldn't be surprised if Embiid never plays a NBA game.

Saric actually coming to the states?

Who you think they trading for the 3rd pick? Okafor or Noel?

I didn't include Okafor or Noel because one of them will be gone if they get the 3rd pick. I think they'd prefer to keep Noel but who knows

I think they would too. Guess it depends if Jerry thinks Dunn or Noel will help more going forward. If Okafor showed anything on D id be more willing to trade for him but a rim protector is very much needed in Boston.

They need to give up a lot more than Noel for 3. If I'm Ainge, I start negotiations at Philly's 2017 1st (with Sacramento swap rights) plus 23 and 25.
