I ran a side by side on bball ref and he’s pretty clearly better than Hill. See for yourself.

Elfrid Payton is your starting PG right now. Saying MCW definitively couldn't make the squad seems kind of harsh.

Hes an upgrade to Houstons current depth chart at SF.

PJ Tucker is the current SF if we were forced to play today. So not even close.

But it's stupid to still criticize an incomplete roster. Too many great moves could be made before the season. A lot of time

6. Carmelo Anthony would increase the variance. Variance is what makes good teams better in the playoffs. The Warriors signing Boogie gives them another option to win depending on matchups. Carmelo would increase the variance for the Rockets as well.

Huh?

He was arguably the worst rotation player in the NBA. He makes a team worse, pretty obviously.

I have my own program I developed for comparisons. Hill is 1.5 X the player and 2 tiers above Williams.

What metric are you using? Also CC has two of the best distributors in the game today on one roster and OKC didn't have any great distributors.

Rockets have a good deal of confidence in their ability to sign Carmelo Anthony, several sources said last night, once he become free. Will likely still need a defensive wing in Mbah a Moute's role.

For any of my NBA Twitter people, Arturo put these shirts back up. He had a few left, I think. I just got one.

Actually, teammates, including in OKC, considered Anthony to be a very good teammate. But yes, they will have to add a better defensive player or a prospect with that kind of potential.

Hes referencing Luc mbah a Moute potential.

Looked smooth and in control with a good stroke in summer league play. Could be the hidden gem Morey hoped.

That's an understatement. If you consider Melo your solution as a 3 and D wing, you might want to also pick up Nate Robinson to protect the rim.

They can easily. Don’t forget this is the team that was ready to offer max deals to LBJ and PG.
