I’m literally the only one who thought they’d match

Would be great if they just went down the list of RFAs at this point

Kings fans, if such a thing exists, should be happy.

He could be pretty good but a high flyer with bad knees is not someone you want to throw 80 mill at.

It's a huge overpay, but it's not that big a deal for either team. Neither can compete for a few years. They have cap room. If he stays healthy and makes some strides, great. If he doesn't, you just lose and rack up picks.

Because of course they did.

They can't even be the best at making shitty deals.

The only way to keep this offseason alive is for the Kings to Poison Pill (lack of a better term) every single RFA remaining and see if a team matches

This is what I’m thinking. If Lavinia works out, they get a starting SG, if not, they’ll still suck. Not really much to lose.

So LaVar did leak Lonzo's injury to other teams:

quote:

"I don't leak nothing. I always say what's on my mind, so you don't never see me saying, 'I think I should say this now and let it leak.' I don't do that."

The good ole double negative trick. Not fooling me

I love his quote too:

quote:

“I’m disappointed that I had to get an offer sheet from another team. But Sacramento stepped up and made a strong impression,” LaVine told Spears. “It appears that Sacramento wants me more than Chicago.”

Translation: I can’t believe I have to sign an offer sheet with the kings to get this much money, but I guess I have to. Please match it.

He’s a career 37% 3pt shooter. Lavine can do more than dunk.

Boogie Cousins signed for one year, 3.5 mil and Zach LaVine got two teams to give him 4 years and 80 million.

Come on now.

Kind of surprised Lopez is still out there. Wonder if he already has a deal done with the Lakers and they are just waiting for something else like a Kawhi trade

That's barely better than league average.
