Boogie Cousins signed for one year, 3.5 mil and Zach LaVine got two teams to give him 4 years and 80 million.

Come on now.

I really wish the TV money would start to dry up

these kind of contracts will end up killing someone (perhaps ESPN)

when Zach LeVine's getting 4/$80M... you know the world's lost its freaking mind

This is also your friendly reminder that Ryan Anderson is due 41.6 mil over the next two years.

He played 8 minutes a game and shot 33% from 3 in the playoffs last year.

Ryno has a lil nagging injury that kinda kept him from being a rotation guy in the playoffs. Then last two seasons tho lol ...He played a KEY role in two top 10 all time offenses. WE Will always love Ryno. We aren’t your franchise who will bash the players. That’s why we are a destination franchise.

Chicago has 48 hours to inform Sacramento that it will match the sheet and retain LaVine, and plans to meet the deadline before Sunday, sources said.

The offer sheet includes an exhibit that protects the team financially should LaVine suffer a serious injury to his surgically repaired left knee, league sources told ESPN.

He's good for those injuries every year it seems.

Not really sure what you're trying to imply. I always liked Ryno. Reading about his girlfriends suicide damn near brought me to tears. I want him to succeed.

With that being said his output doesn't justify his contract. WE know how to separate emotion from what we see on the court.

I’m disappointed that I had to get an offer sheet from another team. But Sacramento stepped up and made a strong impression,” LaVine told Spears. “It appears that Sacramento wants me more than Chicago.”

Now wait a minute, does Zach not know how RFA works?

He’s a career 37% 3pt shooter. Lavine can do more than dunk.

He also doesn’t play defense and is super reliant on his athleticism while coming off an ACL tear. I wouldn’t give him $20 mill but I am glad the Kings didn’t get him

im not sayin he is worth that money anyway. Just that acl injuries are not career altering injuries anymore. But we are talking about the kings. What realistic decent free agents are they going to lure anyway... may as well spend on these types of guys and take a chance

I love it from a Kings perspective. I only love it more they aren’t going to get him because I’m a Celtics fan and we own their pick next year
