That's what's called saving face.

Working the trade through back channels while projecting this idea to Portland fans that you don't want to go. Certainly isn't the first to do that.

Disagree. Ariza was a better player last season. He actually plays defense, and shoots better than Melo.

I can be swayed on that. I didn't feel very strongly about saying Carmelo was better.

Even as a Mavs fan, I'm glad Charlotte is rarely on TV so I don't have to see something like that. Like Hakeem playing in Toronto
