Great site. The Cleveland writers rented out Great Lakes Brewery for a Subscriber appreciation night Wednesday. Interested to hear if they pick up the tab

"If LeBron said he wanted to come, they can find a way to make it happen."
But James Harden doesn't want him.
I'm so confused Rox fans. So confused.

That’s clearly lip service
the only part about that is true is that Chris is staying in CC w hardwn and not following Lebron anywhere.
harden ain’t recruiting him we know that for fact.

Something doesn’t sound right to me when a player recruiting another player is the most focus he has had on anything since he’s been in the league.
When I stand back, it’s pathetic that the league as a whole has come to this. I admit, I watch the game and love my Spurs.
Still, when I look at the product as a whole, the off-season is sad. It’s dominated by the upper crust of players. The best players in the league, in the world, are trying to team up with each other to form the next super team.
I’m supposed to respect a guy like Chris Paul for this? He’s been ridiculed throughout his career for the inability to get it done, fair or unfair, and this is how he’s trying to take that final step?

Quote was probably taken out of context. CP3 wasn’t the one who put the Warriors together or got Durant to join them. He just sees the situation for what it is.
Do you have any other ideas on how to beat them? Or shall other teams just concede the league for a couple more years?

Right, I'm not all for "super teams", but I'm good with anything that stops the bullshite that is going on with the Warriors.

I would be confident pop and Co could turn Ingram into the next kawhi.
But until Lebron starts committing, they won't move those assets for kawhi yet.

They might need to make a move to convince LeBron to go there, though?

Ingram is the one guy I really really wish the Lakers could hold onto under any circumstances even though I know it’s not realistic. He’s going to be a monster as he fills out. Maybe a Giannis-type player imo.
As nice as this pie in the sky LBJ/PG/KL big 3 sounds, I would be beyond ecstatic even if the Lakers just landed George and added him to this current group. Ingram/Randle/Ball/Kuzma are going to be really good in the future and it’s fun watching a young team grow.
But if Lebron wants to come to your team, you don’t tell him no

IMO, Ingram is the only one in that group that has the potential to eventually be a top 10 player. You need stars to make noise in the league. Just adding George isn't enough, IMO.

Oh I know that team would not be a championship contender anytime soon. Adding George plus the current group improving and best case scenario next year would be an 8th seed imo.
It is kinda fun watching a team grow organically and see what develops but that’s never been the Lakers way
