Yeah. I mean, if it's not LA or Miami, he'd want picks from some of the teams. Cleveland, Miami, Boston and LA seem most interested. Philly and PHX also have the assets to make it happen. Depending on the team (PHX, Cleveland) you'd potentially be talking about picks in this draft.

Wiggins would get dealt before Jimmy. Also wonder if the KAT situation has blown over

Ultimately Kawhi will go where he wants. He has one year left and has a mysterious injury. Nobody is trading for him without him re-signing and giving full access to medicals.

Wiggins is a case study in someone without the internal motivation that got too much too soon. There's no reason he shouldn't be an all-star level player at this point.

if he wants to go to LA, he's going to LA.
if nothing else this saga illustrates that he's going to get what he wants on e way or another

Divencenzo is going to be a really solid player. he’ll be the guy a lot of teams regret passing on if he ends up in the 20s

Absolute best case scenario that would have Lakers Nation celebrating in the streets

-move deng with #25, a future 1st, a future 2nd, and maybe Zubac
-sign PG
-resign Julius
-Spurs trade Kawhi to Boston for juicy assets possibly Brown, Terry, Tatum(unlikely) and picks
-We play a whole season with BI/Zo/Jules/Kuz making huge improvements
-Kawhi signs with us next summer

Lineup beginning 2019-2020 season

Ball
PG
Kawhi
BI/Kuz
Randle

We sweep the first 2 rounds, play an intense, back and forth 7 game series with Lonzo hitting Kawhi for the game winning alley oop putting us in the finals.

Face a depleted Boston team murdering them in 4 games by an average margin of victory of 37.9 points. Clinch on their home floor, Bill Russel hands Lonzo ball finals MVP after he average a triple double.

The only one that makes sense is if they somehow got like Tobias Harris and the Clippers 12/13 picks or something. I just don't get it unless they're picking up multiple picks. But even then, I'd stay put and draft Doncic. Then I'd trade Conley and Gasol for whatever I possibly could.

Grizz ownership and management has already come out and said that they think they are a playoff team with Gasol and Mike coming back.

Why does Trevor Ariza think he can get 50-60 mil? Is he high?

Yahoo Sports NBA Yahoo Sports NBA @YahooSportsNBA The Suns will reportedly explore trading the No. 1 pick for Kawhi Leonard. ??

quote:

Several league sources told me they anticipate Suns general manager Ryan McDonough to probe a Leonard deal using the no. 1 pick. Phoenix explored Irving trades last summer but was reluctant to deal Josh Jackson, whom they selected with the fourth overall pick. Leonard is better than Irving, so perhaps it’s time for the Suns to strike now, when they’re armed with assets and an opportunity to trade for a transcendent player. There’s also a sense from league sources that the Suns presumed selection of Arizona big man DeAndre Ayton at no. 1 isn’t a guarantee because of the outside possibility that they’ll get a good enough deal to trade down or out of the draft entirely. Now that Leonard reportedly wants out, anything is possible.

I have my hunch as to why this has been put out there, to make it simple there's a game of chess going on through these reports.
