Swept by who? The Warriors? If you mean the Cavs, LOL.

Even if you mean the Warriors the Rockets have never been swept during the Harden administration.

Even when they were 41-41 and the 8th seed a few years back they still took a game from the Warriors.

Also, what do you mean “without CP3”? Your hypothetical consists of just randomly removing one of the Rockets’ star players? What the logic in that?

Even with Paul missing the first two games of the Cavs series like they were projecting that woulda been a gentleman sweep for CC.

Grizzlies reportedly testing trade market for Chandler Parsons, No. 4 pick

quote:

The Grizzlies may be using their No. 4 choice as a way to get rid of Chandler Parsons‘ huge contract, according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic. Memphis is reportedly calling around the league to see what kind of deal it can get in return for Parsons and the pick.

Parsons has missed 94 games because of injuries since signing a four-year, $94MM contract with the Grizzlies in 2016. He still has two seasons and $49.2MM left on that deal, making it extremely hard to move. With Mike Conley and Marc Gasol also holding sizable contracts, Memphis is already over the projected cap for next season and has little flexibility as it tries to improve on a 22-60 record.

Parsons, 29, appeared in just 36 games last season, averaging 7.9 points in about 19 minutes per night.

I don't get this move.

They aren't going anywhere the next 2 seasons, I don't see how moving Parsons will be this huge help that will make them that much better.

So why give up the 4th overall pick? Makes no sense.

Agreed. Seems like a very dumb move just to dump that contract. The move they need to make is trading Gasol for picks/assets imo

The only one that makes sense is if they somehow got like Tobias Harris and the Clippers 12/13 picks or something. I just don't get it unless they're picking up multiple picks. But even then, I'd stay put and draft Doncic. Then I'd trade Conley and Gasol for whatever I possibly could.

It wasn't even the best thing on NBA Twitter today. Somebody bought another human a flight to LA to fight over Sam Dekker being proud to be white.

You have to believe Pop is going to trade him before the draft, right?
