I also really hope this happens because of how fun that first round would be, especially on the MSB

Mike Conley was a huge pickup for them if he can stay healthy. Rubio --> Conley one of the biggest player upgrades in the league.
The crazy thing is Rubio is an even bigger upgrade for the Suns than Conley is for the Jazz because Isaiah Canaan was our starting PG at this time last year.

Lakers won’t make it into the top 8.

People saying the Clippers are getting the 1 seed are simple.

Bookmark it now. Mavs make the playoffs.

They might. I see them on the bubble. I think they’ll be decent.

Barring injuries, I think it'll be a battle between the Spurs, Mavs, and Pels. The Kings will be a bit behind those teams, IMO.

quote:Agreed. It’s a toss-up between those teams in my opinion. The only reason I put the Pels in 4th our of those teams is because those other teams are ahead of the Pels in the timeline. Zion will be a rookie and the team is new.

Spurs since Tim left are the quintessential regular season team. You can pencil them in to playoffs and you can also pencil them into a rd one L.
Posted on 9/27/19 at 10:44 am to PrimeTime Money
Depends on what you mean by make the leap. I think they'll look like a real basketball team, but I don't think they'll win a ton of games because the conference as a whole is just tough.
I think 35 wins is a serious goal. Anything above 30 wins and actually being competitive most nights would realistically be a good season IMO.
I mean, we won 19 last year, so like 32 wins and being competitive would be a big jump.
