I love how AJ tells him not to stutter when he stumbles over every word that comes out of his mouth.

My thing is, they aren't likely winning the championship next year anyway.

The lack of playoff experience throughout the rest of the roster would scare me a bit. Plus they would still lack any sort of rim protector. Have Love and Kryie together defensively worries me.
I think LeBron gets one or two in Cleveland, but I think it will at least take a year or two. That process does get sped up a bit if you throw in Love.
One thing that rarely gets mentioned in the Wiggins/Love stuff is that if I am LeBron I am a big fan of allowing Wiggins to spend a lot of minutes guarding the other team's best scoring option considering the minutes LeBron has played the past 4 seasons.

Rodney Stuckey has agreed to join the Indiana Pacers on a one-year deal, @USATODAYsports has learned. Nice pickup after losing Stephenson.

Those in favor of making a trade for Love right now obviously agree with that. I don't think they're that close, even with Love. Not this coming season.
It just doesn't happen like that. A squad full of players that haven't even PLAYED in a playoff game doesn't run roughshod and win the NBA championship, even if Lebron is on the team. I'm as big of a Lebron fan as anyone. I don't know that we've seen a player great enough to overcome the inexperience on this team right now. Lebron even said it himself. He knows it's going to be tough.
Every squad has to take their lumps.

Wow. Huge pickup for them. Solid replacement for Lance. Stuckey is highly underrated IMO.

Davis' deal is two years, $2M, with a player option on the 2015-'16 season.
Good for Special Ed. He really needed to end up on a bad team to get some playing time.

Why is Andray Blatche still out there?

I saw some rumors that he kind of acted like a bitch in Brooklyn

I think these are all reasons the Cavs should stick to their guns and not trade Wiggins for Love. Love would certainly help them offensively and make them a force, but the lack of defense would kill the Cavs. Having Wiggins would give them two superb defenders at SF/SG and allow LeBron to stay fresh going forward.
A big three situation doesn't work all that great anyway with the current cap situation, but if you do it with 2 of them being not great defenders it gets even tougher. To make a big three work long term they'll need some good younger players on rookie contracts, giving up a great young player like Wiggins is just a good way to make things difficult.
At the moment Minnesota can't even get a player like Klay Thompson for Love, zero reason for the Cavs to give up Wiggins anyway. Eventually Flip will either have to lower his demands for Love, or if someone else offers a great deal the Cavs can jump in at that point if they really want to.

Marc Stein reporting Josh Smith to SAC talks are back on...trying to involve a third team this time around.
By all accounts SVG wants Monroe to sign, but has hinted that Monroe is holding it up...so much so that it is being speculated in Detroit media Monroe would sign his qualifying offer, which would be pretty much unprecedented for a player due that much money.
Makes me wonder if the reports were true that Monroe wants Smith out.

Very interesting about Monroe
And the prospect of Josh Smith in SAC is just awesome

I think that's the case, and I also think he knows SVG is a much smarter coach and won't be playing Smith at SF.
I know they may have overpaid for some players this offseason, but you can tell SVG wants to spread the defense out to give Drummond and Smith or Monroe a lot more room to work in the paint.
The odd thing will be what is Detroit getting in return now? The main piece from Sac was Thomas but he's in Phoenix now

I said this on another board, but that team will be fun to watch as a basketball fan and play as in NBA 2K15, but no way could I be a Kings fan with the headaches I would get from that five of Collison/McLemore(or Stauskas)/Gay/Smith/Cousins

I agree. It was time for Stuckey to go. Too much instability in Detroit over the last 5+ years for him to get any traction on his career. He was asked to do too much, too soon. In the right role, he can be a dangerous scorer off of the bench.

When you think about it SVG was actually ahead of the curve. I'm sure most of us paused when Meeks got $8 million per.
But Jordan Hill just got $9 million.

Without me looking, I think Meeks got less than that. I think his contract is 3/19.5.
