I really don't understand why rockets did not match on Parsons. They aren't trading for another guy as good as him any time soon.

My only guess is future cap space. If they don't sign Parsons they have about ~15mil in cap space next season (guess based upon 66m salary cap).

They could be targeting Milsap, Rondo, Faried, Thad Young, or possibly Love (if they can shed a bit of cap), next off-season.

That is a lot of money for Parsons, especially after picking up Ariza.

Looks like Caron Butler's deal has a team option for year 2.

The money flying around this offseson is pretty crazy. I thought Birdman would get around the bi-annual or room exception.

Somewhat explains Birdman's deal. He wanted his apparently as well.

All these two year contracts are a sign of the times... Lockout in 2016 looming

Which could be good for Ben Simmons staying multiple years at lsu, right?

DJ was great as a stop gap last year, but I can understand why he wasn't part of the future plans. The Bulls seem to be doing wonders for mediocre guards careers, CJ Watson then Nate Robinson then DJ Augustin.

Any word on where Stuckey will end up?
