Hell outside of Wade, most of the guys on their roster right now can shoot it from 3.

So basically the Cavs and Heat traded James and Deng for the difference of a $1 million savings to Miami.

Lol yeah they should still be a pretty solid squad
I'm ready to see how my boy Bosh does as the #1 option.
How so?

via free agency, swapped players at nearly the same contract.
Lebron's is for 21 and Deng's 20.

Lebron is making 21 a year for 2 years equaling 42
Deng is making 10 a year for 2 years equaling 20
Heat still have like 8 mill of wiggle room I think, depending on what they do with Wade.

Solid move. They're not a legitimate championship contender, but still should be pretty good.
A lot of scrutiny will be on Spoelstra this year. Let's see how good of a coach he really is.

I've been on the Spo bandwagon for a while. He is one of the main reasons I expect them to be pretty competitive.

Can they get someone else? How much is Bledsoe looking for?

He'd be too expensive most likely considering PHX can match. You can tell they are still working because Wade and Haslem haven't signed deals yet.

Mini Bron is going to get paid... max style.

I'm surprised they aren't after Greg Monroe. They probably can't sign him, but I thought they would have tried.

Phoenix has the guards the heat need. Archie goodwin or Bledsoe would be great for Miami.

I think they are going to go after a center honestly but idk who. That's just my feeling bc I believe with bosh as the #1 option they will want to move him back to the 4.
Idk if birdman is staying but even if he is he really isn't starter material but who knows. Not this guy.
They still have a few moves to make bc as of now I think it's just cole, nappier, Chalmers, bosh, mcbob, granger, Ennis, d wade, Haslem, and maybe justin Hamilton?

They have as good a chance as anybody to win the East. Kyrie Irving hasn't won shite. LeBron hasn't won much without 2 HOFers at his side. Nobody is factoring in all the extra touches Wade and Bosh will inherit with LeBron's departure. Spoelstra will be fine. He took the Heat to a #5 seed in 2009-2010 with a starting line up of Wade, Jermaine O'Neal, Michael Beasley, Quentin Richardson and Carlos Arroyo. The 2014-2015 roster is already better than that.
quote:
not so sure. solidly in the top 6 or so, but is Wade gonna miss 1/3 of the games again?
Wade missed that many games by design and because the Heat could afford that luxury. They knew back in February that they were pretty much assured of either the 1 or 2 seed and they weren't concerned about being the 2 seed to Indiana.

If I was friends with Brian Roberts, I would let him know that he's made it. His name is listed in the title of a free agency thread.
