Their chances of being a legitimate contender lies on how healthy Dwayne Wade is going to be. And for the past few seasons, well... we all already know. So for that reason, I don't feel they can compete with the likes of Chicago, Indiana, Cavs, and even the Wizards.

I think so. They probably don't want to use the whole thing on him. Grizz had the same problem in trying to re-sign him.

Looks like Miller will have to decide if contending for a title w/ Lebron is worth more to him than a third year.

They are probably going to use their BAE on Ray Allen.

If he doesn't retire. I think he's still got a couple years in him honestly. He's in good shape.

They need guys like him and Miller for reasons beyond their shooting ability. That roster has a whole lot of guys that have never experienced what the playoffs are like.

Mavericks will get Jefferson on a one-year minimum deal. Bargain signing after Jefferson completed his last contract in Utah

Yep. In a year when there were only 5 teams in the Eastern Conference over .500. Then they were promptly swept by San Antonio. I didn't say he hadn't won shite.....but the 2006-07 Cavs happened to be the best of a bad lot.

It's amazing Mike miller is getting paid so much on the open market when it was just a couple years ago he looked like he could barely walk up the court for the heat
