Ok - here's a good way to prove my point. Would any spurs, mavs, pels, or grizz fan step forward and admit that they thought the rockets had a nice offseason so far?

So you mean to tell me that a team with two top 10 players (both healthy) was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs?

AD actually plays defense. And very good at that.

yes, hell the clippers have 2 top 10 players + better surrounding pieces and lost in the second rd. Had Houston played the Clippers opponent in RD 1 they would've been to RD 2 and then lost to OKC just like the Clips.

overrated as a rim protector considering his FG% against was 48.9% good for 50th in the league.

if harden is in top 10 then so is AD
like hell he is. Go post that crap on the Pels talk.
you gonna dismiss this as bleacher report but the guy makes a great argument with stats. and this was written even before AD went on a tear in march

Bleacher report is crap, that article holds about as much weight as a post by any random poster on Pels talk.

I think most of us could agree on this

ESPN also ranked Marc Gasol as a top 10 player...

That's pretty much what Rockets posters have been saying. They were going to swing for the fences and we all knew full well they might miss on all the big players.
Bosh was very close to signing, so that's what made it suck more.
Most fans are happy with the Ariza signing and improving the team through smaller upgrades as a plan B.

Didn't read it. Putting up nice numbers on a cellar dwellar team doesn't make one a top 10 player. Let's get that opponent FG% at the rim down, win 5-10 games late by taking over games, get your team into the playoffs, then we'll revisit.

Ariza's a good get for y'all imo.
What's the plan at PG? Stick with Beverley?

Why do Pels fans continue to argue with Boom? At least Port and Prime can have a legit back and forth. Although Boom vs Fear rivals any other troll vs troll on TD.

Anthony Davis is a really good player, but I think his defense is overrated. He blocks a lot of shots so it looks nice on the stat sheet, but if he was a great rim protector, the Pelicans' defense would not have been as bad as it was.
Before Howard, when Asik was the starting center, the Rockets were about 15th in the league on defense with him in the game, and dead last with him on the bench.
I don't see that with Davis.

Our D has more to do with monty than the players.
Hence why most want him gone(the rotations aren't helping his case either.)

I agree with this... Pels fans need to give it up.
