Since we couldn't pull off the S&T with Boozer, we got Pau for $6.5 a year? Anybody seen anything concrete on that yet?

They have to amnesty boozer then he will sign...

Pau to the Bulls. That team has to be the favorite in the East if Rose is healthy.

Parsons is more of a SF/SG player

Except he has never played SG. He is 6'9 and can grab enough rebounds because of his athleticism. He's not a true 4 but he's definitely not a SG

Has nothing to do with the statement I made

You said why would anyone take less to play in Chicago. If he loved NYC then Chicago is very similar and would be the place to go if he wasn't worried about Honey Nut and the max deal

y'all will regret matching parsons if y'all do it

So they aren't the favorite in the east

Which is why I said he's MORE of a SF/SG combo player.... He can shoot from deep, good passing and vision, and moves well without the ball. He would be much better at the 2 than at the 4 for a secondary position. He would be physically dominated going up against PFs. On both ends of the court. Parsons is a perimeter player. Period. Sure he can grab some rebounds, but some point guards can average 5rebs. Just because he's 6'9 and can get 5 Rebs doesn't mean he can play PF. His biggest weakness is that he's not that physical and can be outmuscled.

How will we the fans regret it? The only person keeping or not keeping him affects is the owner. And considering he saved a lot of money by dumping Lin and asik I think you'll see parsons in Houston next year.

Paying parsons 15+ million would be out of character for DM

If they don't match they have no cap space. If they do match they have no space. It's up to the owner whether he wants to take the hit or not by going over the cap.

I'd be on board with it because it's like getting a free pass. They are allowed to go over the cap to sign him. They don't need to squeeze cap space.

Exactly. Not sure why they wouldn't match if Les is willing. Thats the only move they can really make
