It really looks to me like:
Lebron has serious expectations for Miami's roster
Riley played up franchise stability of Miami versus Cleveland
Riley asked for more time at the meeting last night
Miami has severely underestimated the prices that players are getting in the UFA market
Cleveland knows they can get Love if they want to give up Wiggins and a Thompson/Bennett or Thompson/waiters or Waiters/bennett poopoo platter
Kyrie/LBJ/Love/varejao with Allen and serviceable pieces added to it would win the East

I do find it strange that Melo has not decided yet either. People Te speculating that they want to wait for Bosh to leave first, but Miami isn't obligated to resign him. If they want Melo why not just sign him and tell Bosh goodbye?
