Sources saying LeBrons kids are riding Cavs tricycles around the backyard which equals Sheridan now being 95% sure hes going back home
This am Sheridan upped it to 100%

I don't think Woj has many (if any) sources in the Cavs front office IMO
David Griffin was calling out the national media after the draft for their "speculation"

Not just today, you haven't seen ANY news from Woj that has you thinking CLE is in play?
The only thing he had tweeted about that made me think LeBron was heading back to Cleveland was the one where he mentioned them sort of pushing through trade really quickly. It sort of coincided with the idea he was going to announce today.
Now that it looks like we aren't going to get a decision tonight I'm not putting as much stock into it.
eta: Most of the major NBA people I follow haven't really given an idea of where they think he will go. It has mainly been ESPN mouthpieces so far that have said he is going back to Cleveland.

Once you sift passed the brew-ha-ha, what is there to base an assumption off of? The cavs traded away some cap space? Didn't everyone do that this offseason ?
Just hard to think he gets wade to opt out of $42 million and then peaces on him. He hasn't said a word. The fact that bosh hasn't taken an offer that would net him 22 million a year is telling IMO

Haslem also opted out of more money than he could ever get on the open market. Bosh doesn't seem to be rushed at all. He's still on vacation.
It is just odd to me that we haven't heard about any meeting between LeBron and their new HC. I feel like that would be important.
I want LeBron back in Cleveland, but I'm not buying it as some done deal right now.

This is the biggest thing, seems like he had a handshake agreement with Wade. With that said, the 42 over the next two would have been nice but even if Lebron leaves Wade will still get a long term contract and make more over the next 4 years than he would have made had he not opted out.

It's obvious he wants to stay in Miami, no need for him to sign before Lebron announces.
Morey need to call Lebron and ask him what's up.

TBH I think if LeBron and Bosh are gone, Wade gets a legacy paycheck like Kobe did, or at least gets a big pay raise
Agree about Bosh, but I don't know what it's telling of

That is one nice looking jersey.

How do we know he got Wade to do anything? Wade very well may have opted out to entice Lebron to stay but I seriously doubt Lebron ever asked him to.

pretty much this. i have a feeling if he knew, his agent would have leaked SOMETHING, and it wouldn't have been to Chris Sheridan..

Don't act like those Cleveland fans.

Haven't read the thread, but some people have alluded to it on this page--why in the world would Wade opt out if LeBron wasn'tcoming back? He may sign a longer deal and make his 42 back, but it will take him at least 3 years (should take 4) to do it. Even if he signs for more--say 4 years for 55--it's not like he couldn't have made up that difference on the back end. Bad as his knees may be, somebody would pay Dwyane Wade 6 and a half a year 2 years from now. It just makes no sense.
And if LeBron and Bosh bolt, frick a Kobe deal, Miami should not resign Wade at all and just start the rebuild early with more cap room.
