Oh it is nbd. I was just using you as an example to make a point about vets being the guys you want come playoff time.
Kevin or no Kevin,
jimmy or no jimmy,
rest assured CC will won the conference with relative ease.

How much you throwing down?

Not sure why Houston would want to spend the money on butler. Do they really want another iso heavy guy who is going to throw a fit when he’s not getting his shots or things aren’t going his way?

Not letting that one go, are you?
Posted on 6/28/19 at 1:22 pm to JohnnyKilroy
What you got in mind?
Keep in mind I always like to go double or nothing w a little game of one on one if it doesn’t go my way.

They don't even have Jimmy yet... They gave an aging CP3 the worst/ most expensive contract in the NBA when he isnt even their #1 player and I would even argue he is less impactful than PJ honestly. Dwight was past his prime and yeah he picked Houston and how long did that last?? He played 2 1/2 years on his 4 yr contract. And btw 2/3 yrs were some of his worst stats of his career minus his rookie year.

Jimmy is a top 5 defender for his position and shoots the three at 40% on catch and shoot. And even more valuable than that he is tough and smart.

Chris could get hurt the first game of the year and not play and cc would still have as a good a shot as any team to win the west. Chris is no longer the caliber to be considered part of a super team. But when you have harden that doesn’t even really matter. Unless you are Goat you are gonna lose via g sweep.

They have made terrible moves and the only + contracts they had were EG, PJ, and Ariza. Y'all let ariza walk and got lucky with EG getting healthy. Now y'all are trading the only other 2 + contracts and giving away a neautral contract in Capela. That FO is a shite show B..

Which is why Harden is desperately building his super team. The window is closing rapidly.
They will be lucky to sniff the WCF this coming year.
And that's with Chris Paul coming off of another great year.

EG getting healthy? Laughable.
Gordon was healthy Bc he came to hardens team. He saw how hard harden worked and he worked just as hard. And Wala, less injuries. Who woulda guessed that a player going to a winning org would mean less Injuries?
The pels culture has a lot to do with Davis never developing even a smidgeon of leadership as well as the constant injuries. It was a losing culture.

I agree we had no leadership and our FO did terrible filling the space that we lost due to injuries. EG getting better was mainly due to the different system between houston and pelicans. But this post is irrelevant because he may be gone and if y'all don't land butler while losing PJ, EG, and Capela y'all are fricked. PJ was the glue to that locker room and even if Butler lands thare it will be chaotic between CP3/ Harden/ Butler/ Coach/ Owner drama

Could not disagree more. Houston has three losing seasons in your lifetime. They are a perennial contender. With the best offensive player in the league. In his prime. They are the favorite to win the title this season whether they get butler or not.

Lakers putting up Kawhi billboards in LA. Is it Sunday yet?
Posted on 6/28/19 at 1:47 pm to Boomshockalocka
Denver
Utah
Hou
For a fact those teams are better than Houston. OKC chokes harder so y'all catch a break with them. If Klay gets back for playoffs y'all may be 4-5. And this is assuming the lakers don't get kawhi and that Lebron and AD will sit out due to age and vagina.

HOU g swept Utah.
adding Conley means they may avoid g sweep, but still way behind Houston. CC in 6. And Utah is probably the stiffest competiton In the conference..
Denver, laughable. Couldn’t even beat a Portland team who was playing the bum kanter with a separated shoulder. Denver is overrrated as all get out due to people stil thinking the spurs are worth a salt. Den beat spurs so all of a sudden they are great. Nah. Spurs are trash.

Overrated? No. Young? Yes. They still took the number 2 seed in a sleep walk to 60 season. Denver is going to be really good for the foreseeable future.

Things those teams have include chemistry and a bench. If y'all lose EG and PJ along with downgrading from Capela that team could be in deep water.
