No actually I gave them only a 20% chance to beat goat two seasons ago. They were actually much better than I thought. I underrated them consistently lately.

The sad thing is, Harden is doing whatever he can to piece together a super team and it still won't matter

B look everybody knows Houston is a solid competitor but can you really sit here and not admit that they are a shite show? I mean you thought you had the contender and then Capela and Chris forgot how to play well. Then you get the savior Carmelo only to sit him and pay him off. No other top free agent has signed there and the one player who did y'all have him for 40+ mil a year way past his prime. Now y'all need to get rid of your 3rd, 4th, and 5th best players just to sign 1 star. And if you can't your FO will settle for aging Kevin Love on a 30 mil contract. CC seems more desperate to me than set up to win a championship

You prob thought guys like ibaka and gasol and green were wash too then we saw them play key roles on a team that won the eastern conference this year.

Ie you are very likely too hung up on age. Older players, experienced, high IQ players Is who win in the playoffs.

This isn’t the full truth though is it WBB? Because over the course of time you predicted multiple series outcomes, including Houston in 6 and Houston in 7.

When you make multiple predictions on the same thing you’re more likely to get 1 right aren’t you WBB?

WBB, you’ve been telling this board for years how love missing the finals in 2015 wasnt really that detrimental for the cavs.

Now 5 years later he’s a key piece to winning in the playoffs?

How do you reconcile these 2 beliefs WBB?

Let’s see Dwight Howard chose CC when he coulda went anywhere to play with harden.

Then Chris did it.

Then tucker and Gordon both took less than they could have made to play with harden.

Now butler is doing it. Deandre too.

There is no player in the nba who guys will choose to play with. Or take less money to play with. Than Harden.

It is not surprising that he is the players mvp 3 of 5 years. He is as respected around the league as humanly possible.

And out of those CP3 was the most high profile player and y'all gave him 40+ mil. EG was coming off some injuries I believe and y'all were lucky he got back to normal. Dwight was already past prime which proves my point. Maybe y'all can land Butler with him having local connections but im curious as to how your bench would fill out with that little amount of money left. My point is that no top stars seem like they want to go to Houston or play with Harden and if y'all do not land Butler I think the gig is up.

harden has a track record of being the place where stars want to go moreso than any other player. I laid it out for you.

Dwight
Chris
Jimmy

In the last 5 years. What team has made FA acquisition of those caliber of players. No one. Hardwn is the most desirable teammate of any player league wide.
