I hate Windy and don't believe shite he says, but here is his take: He says Clips needed to find another star to pair up with Kawhi, but there aren't any. He thinks he will go back to Toronto for a year, and revisit Clippers/Lakers next season.

With Kawhi, I don't trust any predictions. Kawhi and his uncle are probably the only two people with any real idea, and Kawhi is the sort of guy who I doubt cares if he's bucking all logic. He dances to the beat of his own drummer.

I really think that's what happens, but I think Lakers may be in worse shape. AD is a known beta, so maybe he's down with it, but it will be interesting to see their negotiations with him if they're coming at him with "Look, we are trying to bring in another guy that we value more than you, and it will be his team going forward. Here's your lessthanmax contract, please sign and initial here."
That also assumes all 32 million of their capspace will be going to 1 year deals or left unused. I guess they could absorb some expirings into space at the deadline.
