So we are going to act like Magic Johnson didn't pitch Kawhi on the Lakers in any way? What would be the point of meeting with him if so?
Kawhi is obviously wary of media attention, as is his camp. A meeting with Magic would 100% draw attention to Kawhi and the Lakers, and if what we've heard about Kawhi's camp is true, there's no way they would take a random meeting with Magic.

If media leaks and keeping things quite are a major part of kawhi’s decision then why tf would he choose the lakers after this entire year and off season. They’ve proven time and time again they can’t keep anything quite and don’t care about offending players.

I was replying to DSC's comment about Magic not working for the Lakers anymore. To say that Magic and the Lakers are two entirely separate entities, regardless of whether or not he works for them, is dumb.
ETA: I completely agree about the stupidity of the media attention shite. He's a grown arse man and should be able to handle some cameras and flashing lights

I'm with you. That's why I posted the article in response to the tweet that was posted about leaks and attention in Toronto. This has dragged out too far now to really expect fans and media to not be all over it.
