He can do a S&T with the 5 year max to Brooklyn correct? I would think GS would be interested in this, they could get back a nice cost controlled piece like Joe Harris and a pick or two for some youth that they’ll need next year and going forward.

Harris actually only has one year left on his deal, I thought he had two. Just thinking if the 5th year is that important to Durant, Harris or Dinwiddie could be interesting to GS as pieces to build the team back up and Brooklyn isn’t saying no if it’s a sticking point to getting Durant.

They’re definitely not banned. I just can’t remember if he can sign that 5 year deal with GS as part of a S&T. I think Brooklyn would be hard capped at the tax apron but don’t see that being an issue, not sure if GS would be also

The Knicks should be used to this by now. They’ve been promising the big offseason for years and routinely come up empty. They’re not the FA destination media members want them to be. They should quit focusing on building the next super best friends team up and just start building a team.

They can’t build the team up anymore with it without KD. Either way they are over the cap.
Curry make 40 a year
Klay bout to get 40 a year.
Iggy and Draymond are just south of 20 a year.
They are locked in with these dudes and vet minimum guys for a while unless they make some big time trades. Only valuable piece they have is Draymond but he’s due a big payday next year and although he’s the least talented of those 3 guys he’s one of the most important.
