Come on, man. Arye is junk. He tweets vague stuff or flat out steals it.

The Suns aren't a destination. We aren't attracting top guys. Someone like Russell is the best we're going to attract, even if we improve.
The Suns have three guys they're clearly betting on in Booker, Bridges, Ayton. They can go over the cap to sign them to new deals. Every move they've made this summer (even if it wasn't ideal) shows they have a plan to build around them. People keep saying Saric/Rubio don't elevate them to the next level. That's true with anybody they sign.
They're betting on their three high draft picks to play at an All-Star level over the next few seasons and for the people around them to help bring that out. Nobody they sign is ultimately moving the needle. Bridges has to develop offensively and become an elite 3&D guy. Ayton has to be a dominant big. Booker just needs to not be saloon doors defensively and not suck at three point shooting. Having a PG and NBA PF will probably help because he'll get more open shots. If those three don't develop, their FA plans don't matter.

I'm not saying the Lakers won't be the destination, it very will could be. But why drag this out if he already knows? Why not sign immediately so that his new team can add other FAs before you're left with just Rondo & Boogie? Why meet with the other teams?
