I don't know how true this is. I got a message saying the Rockets are now a "serious threat" to sign Chris Paul.

That reeks of an agent putting that out there to put pressure on other teams. Using the Rockets as leverage, in other words.

After seeing KD fit seamlessly with GSW. CP3 could work in Houston. Basically for superteam or almost superteam to be successful the players have to buy into the system and put the team first.

If egos get in the way it will not work at all.

. Chris Paul is going out rumors out to every team so he can get max publicity and dinner in each towns best restaurants.

He'll probably say he is going to Spain just for the free trip to Madrid

i totally agree, it doesn't make any sense for Houston to acquire Paul who has the ball the majority of the time when Harden does the same thing. I doubt either plan on changing a whole lot.

I need for you to explain to me and the rest of the "Casual NBA fans" how in the world you dumping Anderson and Gordon's contract? Nobody is taking 19 and 12 mill salary for those guys at this point

I think they'd just need to dump Anderson, Williams, and Beverley. The only one of those 3 that would be hard to dump would be Anderson, and they can probably trade Beverley and Williams for assets and pair those assets with Anderson in order to dump him.

Nope. Don't want him. Fading athleticism and always hurt.

Not even close. I'll pass on the oft-injured jump shooter. We're done with those types.

With Iggy, seems like it would come down to Philly or stay in GS. They'll probably overpay for him, so he's going to choose between money or more rings.

nah not really, kinda kidding. I just want some assets. with Anderson's contract, the Rockets would need to send back a lotto pick.

Do you think ESPN would be reporting they are serious suitors for Paul if they couldn't even create the space to sign him.
Apparenly you do:

We can also see Chris's people putting this out there so he can get himself a no-trade clause from LAC.
