This feels like an Eli Manning Giants’ SB run.

Don't be a pessimistic fig, your guys are still like -350 to win the series.

I think OKC wins in 6.

Don’t forget hiring Carlisle who’s easily been the best coach in these playoffs.

I just think Halliburton is in the same mold of a Magic or Jason Kidd so the media and casual fan doesn’t consider him to be on the level he is as a player/leader. They don’t recognize anyone who isn’t scoring 27-30ppg as elite so the Pacers continue to fly under the radar.

Yes, we have a great skyline, and it’s only going to get better as time goes on.

I agree with this. He plays smarter because he knows every assist he throws could be 2, or 3 or even 4 points. He has a part in nearly every basket his team scores.

You’re right and I think that it’s been such a long time since the league has had a player like him his impact is just foreign to younger fans. We’ve had CP3 and Rondo who were very successful traditional PGs but they’re not like Halliburton. His size, length and shot making ability at the position adds another dimension those smaller guys didn’t have.

If you remember correctly, I told everyone on here that the Pacers were the sleeper team…. Right before the playoffs started.

Interesting data. Once indy quit turning it over they were able to run their stuff in half court in addition to the transition buckets.

IMO one of the Thunders only weaknesses is half court offense. Indiana limiting the Thunder’s points off of the 19 turnovers early is what won them the game. In a possession for possession scenario Indiana is the better team right now.

Used to be every other day in the same city then a 2 day break changing cities. The only reason they’d do what they do now is to have fans anxious to watch tuning into espns minstrel shows to help ratings for the extra days off.

Agreed. I didn’t realize until a few minutes ago that game 2 is on Sunday. It’s crazy to have two off days after game 1, especially considering that the NHL Stanley cup final is off tonight. I was actually excited about a game 2 on Saturday night lol.

Maybe they have done research and figured they get better ratings on a Sunday. I suppose a lot of people ‘go out’ on Saturdays for dates, get-togethers, partying, etc. In any case sort of lame.

I read a few years back that the nba loves that Sunday evening slot for game 2. Next week will be nice having Wednesday -Friday games but if there’s a game 5 it wouldn’t be until Monday.
