It is when there is excessive contact from behind. On that last alley attempt, the D has no obligation to give him unimpeded access to the basket. Yet somehow the guy under the basket gets tagged with a foul when Wemby tries to go over him.

Brunson just died from a broken ankle. Then miraculously recovered to run across the court and yell at a ref.
