Yeah we called it, said last week if the Spurs play the Knicks like they did OKC, the media and fans would turn on them. New York can control the media narratives and they have an astronomically bigger fanbase.

It’s funny to watch the Spurs be more hated than the Thunder now. We’re off the hook!

But when you wake up SA will still be 0-2.

And OKC is still conference runner up. Are you one of those guys that would prefer to lose than advance?

Haliburton was there for the previous six and some of seven. It’s not OKC’s fault. Injuries happen every game, every series. In OKC’s case against San Antonio, Mitchell and JDub hardly saw the floor or didn’t see the floor at all because of injury.

Had Haliburton not gotten hurt, OKC most likely makes their run in the second half. They were a second half team all last season.

He got hurt in the first quarter of Game 7.

Bottom line, playing the injury game is absolutely stupid.

-Spurs missed repeat chance in 2000 with Duncan’s injury
-Kyrie’s bum knee in 2015 made things easy for GSW
-Toronto’s lone title came when Golden State lost Durant.
-Isiah Thomas ankle in ‘88
-Perkins was out for Boston in games 6 and 7
-pretty sure Bird had that finger/hand issue in ‘85 during the loss.

To downplay the Haliburton injury would be pretty stupid given his playoff run. He missed 3/4 of the deciding game. Yeah, that’s a big deal. Guess what…you can pick and choose series annually where teams benefited from injuries. Not sure why OKC fans are dying on this weird hill when they received that same gift last year.

You’re right. I would frick you up like Lu Dort. You’d probably come back to MSB to cry it was unfair and too physical like after every game against OKC this season

He’s young with a temper. Surprised he even showed up for presser, he skipped one vs OKC and league let him off the hook (mandatory). Just like the elbow. League has been catering to him. He is showing his true colors these playoffs. He’s no longer that tall feel good story.

Strategic hack-a-robinson giving Wemby extra rest. Genius. Pure Pop.

Let’s talk about this… you hacked him three times and he’s a 30% ft shooter so you’d expect him to make 1/6 or 2/6. He made 3/6 for 50%.

Then he had the contest on two Wemby misses in the fourth quarter, including the potential game winner. The Knicks won by 1 point.
